The Legislative Committee seeks to pursue changes in federal law in order to facilitate the administration of receivership cases, including legislation aimed at expediting the processing and approval of tax returns for receivership estates, modeled after Section 505 of the Bankruptcy Code for bankruptcy trustees (the “Receiver Tax Law Proposal”).
