Tax & Compliance Committee

NAFER’s Tax & Compliance Committee will advocate for the interests of NAFER stakeholders on tax, compliance, privacy and other matters related to the management of Receivership Estates, tax compliance, other regulatory compliance such as new and expanding duties arising from Privacy, Data Security, IRS, FTC and US Treasury (Specially Designated Nationals list) impacting the performance of the duties of Receivers and their advisors. The committee will also provide education to NAFER members on developments and best practices in Tax and Compliance, weigh in on Amicus, Regulatory Outreach, and the work of other committees as it impacts Tax and Compliance issues, and seek to develop regulatory resources at IRS and Treasury.
